We provide affordable housing opportunities for all people who lack the ability to afford safe, decent, and accessible homes. Not only do we develop and rehab affordable, sustainable and accessible homes, we also partner with other developers and service providers nationwide to increase the impact in our communities.
We provide services in specialized housing solutions for our nation’s veterans in need. We develop, produce and manage low-cost affordable housing in safe neighborhoods, including rental units and homeownership programs. Safe Housing is just the first step for the Veterans; we also will provide resources for job centers in which we work with various local, state and federal agencies to enroll the veterans and other homeless persons to a nearby job center. We want our guests to acquire new job skills in order for them to contribute to their local economy with dignity and respect. We want our guests to learn how to acquire a job, so they can contribute to the local economy.
We welcome home war Veterans with honor by providing them quality readjustment counseling in a caring manner. We are actively involved with Veterans Centers who understand and appreciate Veterans’ war experiences, while assisting them and their family members toward a successful post-war adjustment in or near their community. We form partnerships with agencies to teach our clients the ability to understand how money works in the world, how someone manages to earn or make it, how that person manages it, how he/she invests it (turn it into more) and how that person donates it to help others.
The Compensated Work Therapy (CWT) program is a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) vocational rehabilitation program that matches and supports veterans who are ready to work with competitive jobs. In some locations, CWT is also known as Veterans Industries. The program also consults with businesses and industries about their specific employment needs.
Through the CWT program, the VA contracts with private industry and the public sector to provide therapeutic work for veterans in VA health care facilities. CWT helps veterans by providing vocational case management and workplace supports that lead to continued employment success.
